Authors Alliance produces and maintains various resources to educate and support authors in their daily endeavors. Our aim is to provide you with the knowledge and tools necessary to succeed in your career and overcome any challenges that arise. 

From explaining the basics of copyright law, to guiding you through the process of obtaining image permission for your book and emerging topics such as AI, we strive to cover the most important legal issues authors face in today’s digital publishing environment. 

One of our primary focuses is educating and supporting our members during the publication process. We provide comprehensive guides on the following topics as free downloads or, if you’d like print copies, for purchase:

• Termination rights 
• Rights reversion 
• Open access publishing

Additionally, we blog about the latest developments in law and policy that could impact author’s rights. Our blog is a great place for authors to learn how they may be impacted by pending lawsuits and proposed legislation. We also offer insight to current topics, such as what you can do when publishers sell your work to AI companies, as well as what authors can do to address AI bias.
